V8 Catalytic Deterioration

Hey all,
I've heard that some of the V12's are prone to an issue where the primary cats start deteriorating, and can get ingested into the exhaust ports/combustion chamber. Does anyone know if the V8's are prone to this as well? I still have the factory cats on mine, but am running VelocityAP's tune with the overrun/exhaust pop feature, and just worried about potential engine failure. Thanks in advance!

I believe that Bamford Rose has a video that addresses this on YouTube. Don't believe V8 is prone to this, Velocity AP would know.

This problem is not an issue on the V8V because the primary is further downstream.
