After a wonderful 13 years of ownership, my 2006 Vantage Coupe has gone off to be prepped and sold.

Sorry to see it go, but it's time someone else enjoyed it.

It's a well maintained, low-mileage example, watch out for it on BaT in a couple of weeks!

I did something similar last week and traded in my 60K mile 2006 DB9 after 12 years of ownership.


Taking delivery of this 2016 Vanquish Volante Carbon Edition tomorrow to ease my sorrow...

 

The world is crying for you... Hardly. Great next Aston! Please post some impressions when you get some seat time. What made you go with Vanquish over DB11?

 

I'm a bit of a dinosaur, so I was only looking for a NA V12 Aston. Shopping list was (coupes only) 2016 DB9 GT (virtually none for sale), 2011-2012 DBS auto (also very rare), and 2014 Vanquish (budget sweet spot).

This 2016 Vanquish Volante popped up locally at a price that made it too good to turn down. The used Aston market in Canada is pretty thin and I could be waiting a long time if I held out for exactly what I was looking for. I've had convertibles before so I know I'll enjoy the Volante.
