2010 Vantage paint rotors

Has anyone painted their rotors to freshen them up? Mine look like some shade of silver. Anyone have a paint code of a high temp paint?

I use black Krylon in a can. Seems to hold up well with decent preparation. And if your using dusty OEM pads doesn't show as much. Unless your worried about getting points deducted at Concourse events.

Hat and rotors are subjected to significantly more heat than the calipers. I have painted the rotor hats. The rear hats still look fine, but the front hats paint has deteriorated some what. If you want to see how I did this pm me for the website.

Metals are surprisingly porous, so heat 'em up for a little while to drive any moisture out before painting.

Pro tip: if you have a significant other, do this while they are away from the kitchen.

Finished after a lot of prep and 2000 degree primer and paint. Waiting on caliper bolts from redpants but did a test fit on a wheel.

This all started with an install of new BCRacing coilovers and swift springs so cannot wait to test the ride height and damper settings.

Looks like it worked out for you and looks great. 2k temp paint should last forever.

Thanks…I used a couple small wire wheels on a drill, two cans of brake cleaner, degreaser to prep paint, hours of tape around edges and slots and this paint.

I've done tons of car with VHT 2000* paint on the hats/vanes. I hate the rust. Holds up great. I don't track my car though.

It looks beautiful! Once the paint has cured I'd suggest ceramic coating them. It makes it so easy to keep them looking clean and new
