I have these pads with black wheels... ceramic coat the wheels and thy dust blows right off with a quick burst of air ..
What I found ccontributed more to thy copper dust was rust from my rotors

My rotors don't have any rust, and didn't have any of that before I've replaced with porterfield pads.

Stwsam is infamous around these parts
Only time I get dust from porterfield is after driving in the rain. If wheels are clean and driving dry, nearly zero dust. As soon as rotors get wet and you stop for a short while, the rotors will glaze with a rust. Once you brake it pushes residual on the rims. I have run the porterfield on jags and two Aston’s. Big fan of their product but to each their own. Nothing like ccm for zero dust, rain or shine.

my car always had black wheels and didn't see any copperish flakes from oem pads, so it's not the rotors for sure, otherwise I'd of seen before with oem pads.

As the others have said it is the rotors. The OEM pads will do this too but then coat over the top with black brake dust hence why you don’t notice.

From someone with black wheels that now runs Porterfield pads and previously had OEM.

I think I’ve been though four sets of OEM pads, and finally switched to the porterfields. Rejoice - no more brake noise. A little dusty, sure - but thats the trade off.
