FINALLY. I echo everyone's thoughts on here, this is what it should have been in the first place. The previous front bumper, grill, and headlights were an absolute design atrocity. I don't know how you could even make something like that. I wonder if the Vantage designer is the one now making the current gen of BMWs...

Nonetheless, this car looks fantastic now, both inside and out. While I still think the exterior design of the previous Vantage (V12V of course...) is a classically beautiful design, this one does does the nameplate well.

I'm of a different opinion specifically regarding the exterior changes. The interior and the mechanical bits are awesome! But the front end is SO much like the DB12 such that IMHO it loses any meaningful differentiation.

That's the Aston Martin way; to make them all look alike.

Actually I like the Vantage front facia better than DB12, that radar sensor kills it for me on DB12, and Vantage side air intake like 177 makes it so much nicer IMHO.
Every manufacture is doing same thing, look alike design, BMW , MERC, to name a few.

Are you talking about the black "box" below the grill? I don't like it either, but the Vantage has it, too. I wonder if it's part of a package? All of the examples in the video reviews have it, but the pictures on AM's website don't show it.

Yes, black radar sensor, most cars have them, DB12 design is not good, it very obvious, like a pimple sticking out, I think they did better job on vantage,

Looks very similar to the DB12 in this pic. You'd think there would be a better way to integrate it, but I do realize it has to be front and center.

Here’s the new Vantage in real life. The Q store in NYC had a preview model available this week. You notice the extra width right away. The front end also looks great (although I like my Hunter grille). The most obvious change is in the interior and the new info/entertainment system from the DB12 is a much needed upgrade from the old Mercedes system. The only part of the interior that still looks like a Mercedes part is the steering wheel. The sales rep expected to have the new Vantage available for test drives later in Q2.
