Hey guys - is the spark plugs the same for 4.3l or 4.7l?
Other than Redpants and Scuderia Parts, are there other sites to get these parts? Redpants is out of stock. Scuderia has higher shipping costs.

Has anyone ordered from AstonMartinBits and have to pay additional VAT? I remember buying items from London and shipped to USA, I had to pay some sort of tax (that was higher than my sales tax....I thought it was VAT) before carrier will drop off. But I have never purchased from this site.

 

UK VAT (25% I think) is for UK purchasers only. There's no VAT to be paid if the parts are being exported from the UK.

Import taxes and or duties will vary depending on your own country. When I buy from ambits and import to Canada there's Canadian tax and duty to be paid. Some shippers include that in the shipping cost so it's prepaid, others don't and you pay at the door.

 

Got it. So it was probably duties tax that I paid when it got here from Europe not VAT. I thought VAT is those taxes that tourist pay when shopping in Europe but you get it back when you go back to the states.

Duties, VAT, sales tax....all the same way to add to the cost with different names.
