Back in a v12

We all have regretted selling certain cars in our lives and I always regretted letting go of my V12 Vantage. As luck would have it , during negotiations of a car I was recently selling, I would up taking this in partial trade. Glad to be back in an old school Vantage with that sweet V12 engine. It always felt special to me and after not having one for several years, this one is now going to join my stable. Looking forward to getting hard on the loud peddle and enjoying the pull and the sound of that motor.
Yes, it will be the slowest car in my stable, but there is a point where it is not about anything more than just how you feel when you drive certain cars. The older V12’s just feel really special when you start them up and drive them. I don’t think that will ever change as we continue to see faster and more refined

cars on the market. Sometimes newer is not always better.

Which transmission? Like the blue calipers.

This one has the auto / paddle shift. I do like the blue calipers and they match the interior stitching as well. I have not seen one in this color combo before. Surely there are others in this configuration. I had a white V12 Vantage and always regretted selling that car. I happen to like the look of this one better.

I agree 100%. I absolutely love my 2010 DBS. It's a pleasure to drive and I couldn't care less that a base Mustang GT can better it in a drag race.

The car I posted about is a 2015 V12S. The odd thing is that I had a 2017 several years back and while I did not rack up many miles on it, this one seems to run a little smoother, handle a bit better and does not have a single squeak or rattle . Maybe it is fully broken in , maybe the different tires than what came stock are making the difference. Or maybe I just forgot what great cars these are to begin with. I am going to make this my go to touring car and not worry one bit about the miles that I am going to rack up on this old girl. I am going to enjoy every one of them and embrace the single clutch transmission for what it is, which is a pretty darn good piece. These V12 cars just pull so easily and triple digits come a lot quicker than you realize when you roll into the throttle.
Happy to have one back in the stable and I am not going to make the mistake I made 5 years ago by letting it go.
