Rim protectors

Hi. I live in fear of curbing my diamond cut new Vantage 20” rims. There are several rim protection kits out there plastic or metal based. Has anyone tried them out? If so,
what was your experience like? Much thanks.

Firstly, I don't think they will work with any Aston wheels as the spokes extend to the edge of the rim. Secondly, NO just NO on an Aston.

Just kidding but the rim protectors will not look good. If you use black, you'll lose the silver around the wheel and silver or gray will never match the finish on your wheels.

I believe curb feelers went out with fuzzy dice. You drive a convertible, how difficult can it be to avoid being that close to the curb?

These should go nicely on your Vantage.

I had them on my wife's Genesis. When they (Gatorguards)were removed, the rim was damaged by them.
I would not use them again.

Many tires have built in rim protection, some more than others. I would recommend looking for a tire that meets your needs with that feature.
