Link to the photos.

Personally, I like it, especially the profile shot. The proportions are perfect. Some will say it looks too much like a Mustang, but so did the original car.

I would definitely have painted it BRG, though.

They are probably one of a few that would take on a project like that, very well executed and I wouldn't change a thing.

Jut my opinion. I have no problems with the drivetrain and interior. That said, they screwed up the exterior.

Looks terrific, but why not an Aston Martin engine? Ford V8's sound cool, but what left is really Aston Martin?

Most likely parts availability to get the kind of power they wanted. The Aston V8's don't lend themselves well to 1000+ crank hp, and they probably didn't want to spend 40-70k on a V12. This Coyote they used makes 805 at the wheels.

I'd prefer an Aston engine, too, but I'm not sad they went with a reliable Ford powerplant instead of... oh, I don't know... a Mercedes engine.

It looks great... but it looks like a restomod Mustang. I get it, the original also looked like a Mustang, but swap all the Aston emblems for Ford emblems and tell me it is from Ringbrothers, and I'd say that Ringbrothers made a really nice Mustang. Put a mustang drivetrain in it on top of that, and well, it REALLY seems like Ringbrothers made a nice restomod Mustang.

I see the Mustang. Mustang with a funny grille that looks like an Aston. And, oh yeah, Camaro hips.

Agreed. Obviously excellent work, but it comes off as another Mustang build.

I love it. Great to see enthusiast interest in the marque.

And it's not like the Ford/Aston drivetrain connection is without merit. Most of us have Ford AJ-derived V8s.

all these rare special car we can't get, is nt stressing again more the customer i will say its like f1 its the ego of the brand and if they re dropping all this they could sell an aston at 120k and get into the grand public but its not the case. don't like it myself,. lol
i hope aston does not end up in the hand of billionaire making special cars for them, or if it was the only way then good for them.
