Sequence to Close Navigation

In my 2006 DB9, my navigation screen no longer works. However, it seems to want to stay open. I would be very appreciative if somebody could tell me the exact sequence of clicks with the little joystick that I need to make to choose Shut Down and have the screen and its cover close. Thanks!

It should start up to the warning text screen. Simply clicking "back" from there closes mine. If you want it to never open again, you can disconnect the video cable from the nav unit under the driver/rear seat. Don't disconnect the power or MOST fiber connector or the whole entertainment system will cease to function.

It sounds like the gears that allow the mechanism to fold down are binding or stripped, replacing them is pretty straightforward and there are kits at Redpants, Aston Martin Bits, and other places as well as youtube tutorials on the process. They aren't that expensive either.
