Talking Pics - B7 RS4 w/ Mods

All,

Just had the black optic grille installed, and had them sand the parts numbers off and paint my front/rear sidemarkers body color. I'm really pleased with how everything turned out, considering how little was spent to get all of this done.

Here are the pics:

I'm replacing the wheels with the titanium versions with 10mm spacers and putting some Nitto Invo tires on there in the next few weeks. Might throw on the ECS H-Pipe at the same time, but I haven't decided.

Nothing crazy, just another RS4 with some minor mods...

Take care,
Brad

Thanks guys. Yeah, I am going to do most likely KW V3's at some point. I am waiting a little while to see if the DRC starts crapping out on me like it has quite a few others.

I haven't even hit 15,000 miles on it so I'm not trying to go ape**** with the mods just yet

The RS4 looks great. Nice touches but heck man go crazier, you'll love it.
I did the same with mine regarding the metal strip around the nose.

Great choice with the Nitto INVO ties. I have them on my RS4 and I believe they are as good or better than the PS2's.

Get H&R springs and a Milltek exhaust. It gives the car a great stance and an awesome V8 growl.

I've always said the RS4 stock wheels are the best looking ones of all the cars. I had HRE make me custom off set wheels for the RS4 and can now run 285/30/19 INVO's on a 19x9.5 monoblok wheel.

Good luck with the car, it's beautiful and keep modding. It's a disease.

Beautiful car!!

Just out of curiosity, why the KW V3's over some of other coilover systems out there (Ohlins SL, Ohlins STaSIS)?

Hey rs4fast, with all the cars I've got my hands full doing other modding.
The GT3 and M5 have really made a financial dent in me.
Mod on! Projects are fun.

Zeshin the Stasis Ohlin set up is probably the best coilover suspension for the RS4 but at $4,000 that's steep. The KW Variant 3 is a very good system for less than $2,500. I've read that the lateral g's in the RS4 went from 0.89 (stock) to 0.98 w/ the KW Variant 3.

You can not go wrong with either set up.

GT3Ranger pretty much summed it up. I don't see the benefit in buying a $4000+ coilover setup on a car that is a daily driver and doesn't see any track time (not much around the Wilmington area as far as that goes). My main reason for replacing the suspension eventually will be for aesthetics.

Thanks,
Brad

Looks GREAT Brad!

I have any ugly license plate holder on the front of mine. Did you replace it with just a clean trim piece?
