I'm usually pretty **** about where my keys are, and I haven't lost one since I went skiing and messed up a backward-landing and forgot to zip my jacket pocket....

but anyway, I can't find my S5 key anywhere. I never got the spare one (still ticked about that....I think the transporter stole it)....and I drove the car home last night...I checked my pants and jacket pocket....looked everywhere....and I couldn't drive the S5 today because of it!

It's now sitting in the driveway....a pretty thing to look at, but utterly useless (about as much as it was a week ago when it snowed).

Anyone have any ideas where it might be?

 

Have you checked between the couch cushions? That has been a favorite hiding place for my keys in the past.

 

Call Audi to do a new key for you...

 

Sweetness. After having nightmares all night that somebody came back with the key and stole the car.....I grabbed my pajamas this morning, and the key just fell out of nowhere onto the floor.

Time to go for a drive.

Fleece pants man....they are so comfortable. I'm so glad I don't have a real job.

Why don't you drive it in the snow? It has AWD....
