Why not just get a quattroporte? It seems like a logical move if you like your current car.

In Canada they dropped the price by $5000 on the base vehicle due to the recent strength of our Canuck buck. This "equalization" occured over the winter while my car was on order. They have since applied an additional $4000 "Stackable Cash Vehicle Discount" and the rationale for that I don't know (don't care either).

 

The QP is nice, but it is expensive and depreciates quickly, and I'm not fond of the vehicle electronics in the QP.

I really miss all the electronic goodies from my E63 -- Keyless go, Sirius, Bluetooth etc...

 

I drove both and the S6 felt like a sportier car while the S8 just felt fast but still very big. It was like putting the V10 in the A6 shrunk the whole thing but not even a V10 can make the A8 feel small.. haha
