wow that thing is a baby.
I would make sure you look at the timing belt.
if it goes you will be out of some serious $$$$.
I'm on my second one first one is on Audi...second one is yours.
My RS has 63k on it
a pic of what my car looked like a couple years ago...
no more SPORTECS though.

Phil, thank you for great products at great prices over the years... I am a big fan.
This car has been meticulously maintained by time (not mileage). It recently had the full 35k performed by Audi (including the timing belt), oil, brakes, etc. It also has an extended (platinum) warranty through 2014 or 70k miles...

yes... it had 85 miles when it was delivered to me in dallas (from portland) about 4 weeks ago... After putting new tires and having oil change, everything checked out, etc...I decided it deserved some mileage... it has run perfectly....cant wait to really get a sense for the power...I have been very careful to break it in as per owners manual instructions...
FUN!

Phil, my plan is to keep it completely OEM stock for now. I have purchased brand new in the box (this was very hard to find) RNS-E, bluetooth, satradio. All from Audi...all reversible. Other than that, I plan to keep it original.
If my history is any indicator, as much as I plan to keep it a long time, I probably wont. In a year or two when I decide to sell w/10k miles or less, my theory is that keeping this car stock will help retain the value better. The other part of this is maintaining the Audi/Fidelity warranty coverage... I wouldnt want to do anything that would void it. Maybe I will decide later to change my approach...but for now that's the deal.
For sure, the suspension is a little floaty for my liking, it would be the first change that I would make.
