... the biggest difference to an A4 sedan is that it´s got a hatch, which makes it more versatile and the coupe-ish geometry on the other hand makes it look much sexier than an A4 Avant:

of course, the A5-sportback is simply the A7`s little brother. the A5-Sportback is based on the A4 and the upcoming A7 is based on the next generation A6. The A7 will hit the showrooms at the end of next year.
