Looking to get a new DD and can't make up my mind. Looking for a fast sedan in the $25k+/- range. I live in NY and commute 60miles total per day highway. I don't necessarily need awd as I have an SUV for bad/winter weather. How is the auto in the C55? I have never owned a Benz, I have owned Audi and BMW and loved both. Give me pros and cons of both, looking to make a purchase in the next month or two. Thanks!

 

I would say Audi S4.. Its a much funner car, better looking, many aftermarket parts for them.... just my 2 cents..

I have a CL55 AMG and my lease is up this month and i can't wait to get rid of the thing! This was my first Benz and it will be my last. I have had many cars from GT3RS to my Lambo and BMW ect.. I had thought these cars where built solid..not the case and god forbid you have any problems with the AMG. It will cost you more than the cars worth to fix it. I am looking at an Audi to replace it.

 

I have owned both. I did not have any of the problems with the build that vdavie did, and the fit and finish on both of the cars was enough to keep me happy.

The only one that I still have in the driveway is the Audi. The Benz was fun and a phenomenal car, but the Audi is just better. And can be had in a 6MT.
