Alcons, Brembo or Stoptech...Pictures??

I have a B6 S4 and looking to make a bbk upgrade. I want to upgrade both front and rear brakes because I want to make sure I have matching rotors. I don't want to lose my rear e-brake so I must retain my rear caliper. I am looking to go with either a 4 or 6 piston in the front. I'm looking for recommendations and any photos you can post of your brake setup?

Unfortunately there's no rear brake kit that has the ability to retain the e-brake hand brake from any of your 3 options..

There are a few companies who have been able to make the Brembo B5 S4 work on the later models, but nothing directly from Brembo.

Check our gallery in the B7 section for picks of brembos. I prefer Brembos, they are made from the best materials around the world for their rotors and calipers. you cant do the rear kit without losing your e brake. the 6 pot is not much more and has the power of a 8 pot but the weight of a 4 pot.

the movit's may allow you to keep your ebrake but their brakes are alot of money
talk to carson(dolphinv8) on audizine he has a b6s4 with front and rear brembos and he had a piece made so he can keep the e brake, his car was in eurotuner a few months ago

Brembo is a sick company... but i believe Alcons makes bigger rotors than brembo.. At least for the B7... as for the e-brake.. I read once in Euro Tuner or something that fifteen 52 has a b6 with an BBK all around and E-brake... but im sure its $$... Good luck and keep us updated with pics!

Gary is the man when it comes to brake knowledge.

As he said, fronts should not be an issue, but rears are another story.

I have the ECS Stg 4 upgrade with 6 piston Brembo's and love them. No brake fade, car does not get squirly under hard braking and the pedal feel is great!

^ Nice break setup! I really like the Brembo's on my STi, especially with aftermarket rotors, stainless lines and Motul fluid make for no fade retina popping stops
