What a fantastic car this is though for whatever reason Audi decided against bringing this rocketship into the US. Did any brave person try to import one into the US ?

The only RS6 MkII that I have EVER heard of coming into the US is a sedan that came in through HBL in Tyson's Corner, VA. It arrived in Baltimore Harbor and was prepped at HBL. The car was destined for Audi North America's CEO.

Nice, head of Audi North America gets himself one and tells the rest of us to F ourselves.

If he was the kind of leader necessary to pressure Audi to bring us this car, he would say he would not get one until the rest of us could.

Darn it !

Seems like you have to rule the Audi World in order to drive an RS6 legally in the US. What the hell??
Doesn't seem fair, does it?
Neither AMG nor BMW M has that kind of weird marketing (as far as I know...)
What a shame

A Cali guy on audizine (RSAUDI i believe) bought a sedan in Central America and drove it up. Spent a bit in customs, but seemed to be able to register it in Arizona or NM. My dad the previous RS6 and that was a beast, can't imagine the new one.

...The real question is, where are all the B7 RS4 avants in the states?

I have never seen one in the US. I'd be interested to know what it would cost to get one in the US.

It's a shame though that we don't get them.
