Audi R8 on the Dyno and BIG Gains from ECU Flash

Last week we did some work on an Audi R8 installing the Milltek Exhaust. Today we got a chance to flash it using OCT and the car gained fantastic power!!

As you can see the car gained around 30whp and 30ft/lbs of torque!! Really amazing for a naturally aspirated V8! The car is a lot more punchy and throttle response improved a lot!

that is definitely impressive gains! does that also include the gains from the exhaust? either way, very nice!

These FSI Audi V8's really respond well to Software Tuning. I drove a S5 last week, and I could not believe how much more "crisp" it was, compared to before the flash.

This is very cool. Please be sure to tell the owner to have his dealer never reflash the ECU but to clear codes one at a time if any come up. Most Audi techs aren't thinking that the ECUs have been reprogrammed.

Nice gains. I'm not familiar with OCT. Would it be comparable to Revo? I had the Revo installed on my S4 and am considering doing it on the R8 as well.
