Looks GOOD! I'm glad your wife appreciates a killer car. I love the new B6 S4's, however I'm still partial to the B5 chassis. What's the name of that color? I havent seen it.

Here is a picture of the new RS4 test mule. I think its going to unreal. V8 bi-turbo! This thing should smoke a M3. I am starting to like the new style grill.

Actually, rumor is it will be N/A, which is very disappointing. And of course it will be faster than an M3, it's not even in the same class - the S4 and the M3 directly compete (it's more comparable to the CSL, perhaps).

You're right, it is an unfair comparison, it will be even faster than a CSL tho. They probably couldn't fit the turbos in the engine bay, (have you seen a B6 S4 engine bay) its jam packed. It should be puting out over 400 horse power, which should move it into M5 territory. I also like the deletion of the trunk lights, but it is unlikely that this will carry over to the production version.

By the way I love your car, there is a similar widebody B5 at Fourtitude you should check out, I will get the link later...

Cheers

Other than yours, this is the nicest, cleanest S4 I have ever seen.

Took my turbo for a regular service and the dealer happened to have an S4 demo in 6speed. Asked him if I could have it as a loaner, and he said go right ahead. What a great car this is! Way under-rated, in my opinion.

I talked to a Audi sales person last night at the San Jose Auto Show and he told me that they will be making a new RS6 in the near future with a V10 or W10. I wonder what the BMW camp is thinking, so much for the new M5.

Regardless of the final specs, i'm sure the numbers will be in the ballpark of its closest competitors...lets just hope something resembling the next euro RS4 comes to NA with a 6speed option and not make the mistake of SMG only ala the new M5. I know the new M tranny isnt configured to allow the traditional H pattern, but I still dont have to like it.
