got a call from my local dealer telling me they just got in their first S6, i went to check it out and ended up trading our 10' B8 S4 towards it. if anyones looking for an audi in socal i highly recommend dealing with nathan buttry at penske, guys straight foward and no bs, made everything go nice and smoothly, was in n out in no time with the new car. Imho much easier to deal with than the guys at the Porsche dealer. When I bought our 12 CS the pcar dealer acts like they're doing me a favor of selling me the car, lol. Grats! It's not just you about the Porsche dealer. I felt the same way. I don't know if they are "trained" to be that way or not but I am not surprised.

 

thx guys, ill try to get more pics up when i get the car back, havent driven the car at all other than to home and i dropped it off for clear bra and tint, i should be getting the car back on monday or tuesday. as far as exhaust i definitely want it louder, the car does make a nice growl but it sounds like its coming 90% from the engine bay and nothing from the mufflers. exhaust and chip when theyre released is a must have.

NICE! I almost wished I had waited a month for the S6's to come in....All the reviews are amazing...including C&D which rated it ahead of the 2013 M5. Thats a big statement....

 

Does it feel much larger than the S4? I'm thinking of picking up an S6 once the lease is up on my 2011 S4 next year...

 

the car actually does feel bigger than the s4, not S class big but def larger. The power is night and day from the b8 s4 to the s6. Although the s6 does seem smaller than it is when driving, it handles pretty good for a car this size. The s4 however did feel and handle better, when you throw the s4 into a corner or bend the way everything feels is different. Very tight and tossable, the s6 can do it too, but doesn't feel razor sharp like the s4. My wife and I have a 6 month old now so we both got larger cars now as we needed more room. The s4, with a rear facing child seat, the front seat has to be put all the way forward basically making it useless.

I'll try to snap more pics later, my cars currently a one eyed *****, as someone stole the washer jet, tow hook covers, and the fog light area grill over the weekend in la. Car has 200 miles and this happens, I don't even want to drive the car until the new parts that are on order come in. They're telling me 7-15 days as the fog light area grill isn't even in their system as a part that can ordered yet.

 

Really feeling the S6 somewhat. If you decide for some lightweight forged wheels, we'll get it done. But meanwhile, enjoy that beast! A perfect combination of luxury and speed in my book no doubt about it.
