Just picked up new to me R8 V10

Hello guys,

I just picked up my new toy. It's a 2010 R-Tronic with little over 32k miles. I flew to Dallas yesterday and checked the car and shipped it to me.
What a great machine even though it's too slow compared to my 700whp 997TT.
I also bought the Fidelity Platinum 4 yr warranty because of the mileage. It's got Stassis exhaust/brakes/suspension and lots of carbon parts in and out.
I can't wait it to arrive my door!

I bought one last week and I'm also coming out of a 911 turbo. It's crazy the attention this r8 gets.

I cross shopped the v10 r8 and the 997tt although i made the mistake of not havong the fun of test driving the r8. Ultimately before i got to the test drive phase i decided the 997tt was better suited to my needs.

Curious how the steering feel and acceleration feel compared to the 997tt. Obviously it is slower than the 700hp tt's but how does it compare to a stock tt, tune tt, tume/exhaust tt?

In the looks/sound/interior it is obviously no contest, r8 all the way. Congrats.

Definately slower than my previous 997tt and feels much different. Modded 997tt is torque monster compared to R8 V10 but since R8 V10 has much higher redline and its most power and fun factors are from the up top it is very fun car to drive. None the less the sound of V10 is unreal! Both cars have their own merit.

Here are some better pics from last weekend Cars and Coffee.

That is the same color as my manual V8 coupe that I sold a little while back. I miss that car, completely right about the driving experience over the Turbo though in the V10. Much more of an "occasion" car then the the turbo is but not the raw speed.

Enjoy in good health.
