I also drove the 6 speed... They did a nice job on the car with the changes. Interior is much nicer than the old one to.

sounds like a long story to tell, but all i know is some owners experienced tranny problem. do a search at www.audiworld.com & u'll know. don't get me wrong. it still a great great car & car has its own issue. i'll just have to sit back to see how Audi take care of this issue.
actually before my Mini i had a 02 A4 3.0 as my daily driver. the reason i got rid of it (only drive the car for 3 month) is because 1 problem Audi couldn't fix & they blamed me for putting the 19'' wheels. they simply think that's the cause of the noise (i mean loud & scary) problem in the front axle area. anyway, just tired of dealing with them since i know that's pure BS. i still love that car & hope they'll win me back. we'll see.
as i said, car has own issue especially when it's new on the market. like first year 996/986 sucks. i also had horrible experience with my 98 CLK (first year). thought that's gonna be my last MB

at the same time i'm looking for the M3. i know it has big engine problem when it came out in 01, but through the year BMW has made it. (also the new 7 sucked big time last or 2 years ago).
anyway, i know it's cool to drive a new, first year model car. but after some bad experiences i had with those "new" car, i know think to wait a little bit is actually better idea. like i'm really happy with my 03 TT. i personally think now it's a good time to get a M3 (is there gonna be a minor facelift for the car??? i.e angel eye head light...)
any thoughts?

I test drove it, and liked it. Had a turbo whine to it too, though N/A. However, dealers around here are selling for sticker, and not too many incoming. WOnder if they really are coming out with the RS4. Two out of three dealers said they will.
