Picked up an S6 this past Saturday

I'm sorry it took me so long to post. I picked up a 2007 S6 this past Saturday. It was one of three allocations that my local dealer received for the year. It is light silver over black. It has the technology package, warm weather package, carbon fiber trim, and rear heated seats.

I ended up trading in a 2005 S4 Cabriolet but I had both cars until Monday so I was able to snap off a few pictures of both cars together. I also got a picture of the S6 with the wife's all-road, but I never got one of all three together. Oh well!

So far I love the car. I'm doing the break-in properly so I really have no idea what she can do yet. However, I can tell Audi has the ECU programmed to keep the car tame during the break in period. I now have 270 odd miles and the car has definitely changed its behavior over the past day.

My only complaint so far is there is no way to turn on the front LED's at night. They are DRL's and unless the dealer can change the programming, once the head lights go on the LEDs go off. It looks REALLY cool on at night so I will find a way.

Enjoy-
Andrew

Very nice car indeed!
When I see these S6 with LED on while driving in my car I always risk to get in an accident. They really are like a magnet.
Congratulations on your car Andrew

With options it was $80k, $82k or so out the door. AWD was the main reason I went with the S6 over the E63 and M5. So far the fuel economy has been reasonable; averaging 18mpg with a mixture of driving, although I'm still in the break-in period so I've been driving very conservative.

When I post the interior shots you guys will laugh. I've got two child seats in the back. (Hey, the kids have to get to daycare really fast and in style.)
