I have a set of HRE 590R's for a year now on my M5 and a set of HRE 890R's on the 997 GT3 and NEVER have I experienced a vibration or any problem. It does rain in So. Florida a fair amount.

I've been buying HRE wheels since 1996 (easily > 12 sets) and for me this is the best wheel. I understand that there are other good wheel manufactures out there but HRE is what works for me.

Cheers gentlemen,

GT3Ranger

OK OK I decided to dump money into the exhaust and leave the stock wheels on the car. Well that is after I power coat them satin black to match the new trim and wrap them with 275 tires. OK now the question is how big of a spacer will I need with the new tires 5,8 or 10mm spacers??? Who has the insight on this??

Spacers are shady. Get a set of Volk Progressive ME. They'll look amazing and only weigh about 20lbs each.

I have yet to see an aftermarket wheel that looks better than the stock wheel. For me, some cars don't seem to look good with aftermarket wheels. For example, the B5 S4 looks so much better with many aftermarket wheels. For the B6/B7 S4 and the RS 4, I like the stockers best.

IMO the stock RS4 wheels are the best looking OEM wheels out there.
I always change wheels though, that's just how I am with my cars.

The wheels shown above are very nice.
Which wheel is the one shown by member RS4ed?
I like the 10 spoke design.
