Wheel suggestions RS4

Wheel suggestions I am looking to lower the cart and drop on a set of 20s on the RS4. I am stuck on several different wheels. The HRE 543r, 545r, 590r, 447r and the 445r. BBS has a couple of wheels but I am not to hard up for them. Then I am not sure if I am going to stay with silver, black, bronze, or color matched centers. With polished brushed or color match lips. I am thinking about either going with the silver centers with the blue lip. Silver sinters with blue hardware and brushed lip. I will have to do some serious photoshop work to make sure I like them. What do all of you think?

I would hit you up with a couple of pict’s but I don’t have any pict’s of any of these wheels on the rs4. The only pict’s I have are the ones off of the HRE site or either one of the wheel sponsors. IF there is any way that you can photoshop me a set of the 543r with a brushed centers and a blue lip with black hardware and lugs that would be great.

Stick with 19's, IMO. 20's look too big on a car the size of an RS4.

I'd have to agree. besides, most multi-piece wheels simply don't look as big due to the centers which need to be bolted to rim. And one needs to consider added unsprung weight as well. sometimes, its just not worth the extra step up. I'd be more interested in reducing that unsprung weight more than just stepping up. But YSITSMN may just have different wants/desires so my opinions are just my opinions

I have also looked at some of the Work, Rays, and BBS wheels to reduce unsprung weight. I am going to put cup tires on my stock wheels and use them for track days. I have been looking at both 19'' and 20'' wheels, I like the look of the HRE wheels.

I think that 20's would look good in the flared out fender wells. But how knows I have not seen 20's on the RS4.

a good match to the rs4 is getting 19s in a single piece forged wheel that have the spokes radiate out to the rim edges much like the stockers. and if you really wanted to maximize on the fender flares, consider finding wheels that offer an aggressive offset to "push" those wheels out further towards the fenders.

but it seems that you may want some sort of dish to your rims...

to be completely honest, i can't see any lip color other than black that belongs on an RS4. Blue is just waaaaay too bold for me.

Couldnt have said it better, stock wheels are hard to beat for that car, the one piece looks AMAZING on that car! best bet would be BBS CH's

the prob with audi's quattro for me is that it's next to impossible if you truly want a dish wheel that fits.

HREs also vibrate in the rain which is absolutely poor engineering.

i'd get a set of BBS CHs like Ill said or maybe some OZ Superleggera IIIs.

otherwise, everything else is kinda.. non-motorsport if that makes sense
