IMO though i would go for an M5, but i a RWD kind of guy.. Ive driven the RS4, handles great, decieving power delivery and speed and love the interior, but it just isnt worth the money to me :/
the first time i saw one and raced one of the road was an older guy (40's +) so i would say because of the price it is definately targeted for an older generation. Althought i do know a 17 year old junior in high school who has one and is trading it in for the new m3....

The RS4 is simply the most fun to drive of all the cars I listed. I have the Milltek full catback and Stratmosphere short shifter and the car is simply wonderful. I love listening to the engine sing, as it will and does! 5500 to 7500 is a blur and really does lay you back in the seat. There is no "boy racer" anything about the RS4. It eats the M3, M5 and will hold its own in a roll on with a Z06 up to 100. Almost as fast (notice I said almost, the TT had a PSI ECU upgrade, otherwise they (RS4 & TT "S") would be near parity) as my 05 TT "S" but hugely more engaging. There is just something very satisfying about being in and going fast in a 4-door sedan.

it definately does not eat an m5, i was passenger in an 06 m5 against an rs4 and the audi couldnt keep up
