that is more than twice as much as an a4 2.0t quattro--not sure if the motor and styling is worth it.., but it is nice looking

 

good point. From a style standpoint this car loses out big to other cars in its price range (imho) but if you stack it up across the board (style, power, interior quality, 4 doors, etc etc) its tough to beat.

I consider it the Evo on steroids - 4 doors, AWD, manual gearbox - but faster and WAY nicer fit & finish.

 

what's Suzuka looks like? can u order any color u want for RS4?

I was thinking about this the other night, and came to the conclusion that the problem with the RS4 is the platform it's based on. It has great qualities: Quattro, great motor, good handling, great looks, solid build, etc. However, when you start to look closely at the interior you start to see some flaws. For around 70K, it shares too many parts from a 30K A4. The build quality of the A4 is wonderful, the doors close with a thud, the layout is good, leather and plastics are good quality, etc. But, for 70K your perspectice has shifted for what you're expecting, and what is presented isn't all that different. You get the Recaros, CF trim, etc. but there are a lot of similarities. Check out the cheap plastic that tapers off the center console down by the footwell, the switches for the moonroof, the center armrest, etc.

It's a great car, and the build quality definately isn't lacking, but I would have liked to see a little more attention to detail and unique touches to differentiate itself.

 

looks great...all it needs is tint, drop, and an exhaust.
