the dealer said i need to keep the car for at least 1 year before i sell it. also, that if i sold it before that time, i would have to sell it back to them. is this normal?

that sounds like bullsh!t to me, if u are buying it... well then what the hell? if they have a contract to indicate that u will have a problem but if they don't they just want u to sell it back because they know since the production is so limited they will make some serious cash off of it for the next 2 years. if ur serious about getting it then draw up the papers... if u hear or see any of this 1-year business then refuse to get the car... i'm sure they will make the most of it

If they are selling at MSRP and you don't want it let me know. I'm waiting for one. What are the colors/options?

Too heavy, just like the RS4. Unless, you are looking for a cruiser...but, how could you loose at MSRP as there will be a lot of buyers until the market figures out the same thing they did with the RS4. Great engine, but underpowerd for that weight. BTW, my RS4 that was corner balanced tipped the scales at 4000 pounds. That's a lot of meat for 420 ponies and under 300 ft/pds of torque...

I'm a huge fan of the R8. The looks are like nothing on the road and from what the reviews say it seems like an awesome car. Go For It!

The car looks good, not a bad buy, but the interior isnt all that great, doesnt match well with the exterior. Overall, decent choice, just dont let them rope you into a contract on selling it back to them.

If the terms of depreciation in the contract are acceptable, then hell why not?
