Does anyone know of any performance tuners that offer S6 upgrades? I would like to get a little more out of the V10 if possible. Thanks, John

Heffners Performance seems to be THE man when it comes to putting turbo's on anything. I have no clue what it does to the reliability of a car (especially when your S6 is your wife's daily driver / hell, why does she even need more then 435HP ), but it sure makes anything fast even faster.

Maybe MTM or Nothelle have what you need?

 

I was talking about Heffner Just like the post above. They have already fiddled with the V10 witch is the same motor that comes in the Lambo G. I am sure that sportec mtm and a bunch of the other tuners will have parts out for the car soon enough.

A chip should be a good bang for the buck upgrade on the S6. Because the S8 with the same engine makes 450, and Im guessing the only reason is they crippled the S6 somewhat to make the S8 more powerfull. So if the chip could make 5-10hp on a S8, the gains on the S6 could be as high as 20-25hp.

It's probably too new and too limited quanity to have a chip yet, but someone eventually will do it.

There isn't even software for the RS4 yet.

I see that the local chiptuning guy gets 457HP out of the engine... I think it's pretty realistic. It will probably remove the topspeed limiter, so it will go that little bit faster.

Thanks guys. We need a master tuner like we have with the P cars (Todd K./Protomotive). Wow, I can see it being slow to come out for the S6 but the RS4....a chip/flash should have been waiting on the owners. Now wheres my cattle prog..........

 

Actually the difference is the S8 has a different intake manifold, and the exhaust system is a little bit different as well, according to the internal tech doc's I have seen. a chip should still be able to find 15 to 20 hp in that car, given the displacement and Audi's generally conservative nature. I'd be curious as to what the results are if you get it done. 2nd MTM or one of the big german tuning houses, maybe try ABT or somebody. also depending on where you live you might try APR, there pretty good with the audi's and for the right $$ you could get them to do something custom.......
