Thanks Russ! That does mean a lot comming from a guy who's cars almoast as cool as their owner. I have chose to go with a TT this winter. Living in Seattle and driving this car is just not that fun with all the rain. I think I will wait for a few months a let someone else take the inital depreciation on the new Audi TT then pick one up in the high 30's. Then next fall find a ZO6 after the new higher HP one comes out, and just drive it like I stole it.

 

After sitting in a ZO6 it is not the car for me! I may end of with a 997 GT# in 2 years or so but for now my Boxster will stay my Boxster.

PJ my man the TT will be for Carrie to autoX in with a set of coilovers and us to haul the dog in style for a drive o cruise up to the mountain for a ski day. I will start looking into those in a year when the price falls though. 50 large is just way to much IMHO for that , it is a 30-35K ride. I will be looking fr a S4 Avant (my choice) or WRX wagon (her choice) to get her through the next year though then I get the handmedown. I think we are set to buy as early as jan or feb depending on how bad the Boxster mod bug hits. I have too many wants all at one time! This winter will bring a whole new JP's Boxster around. Best of luck with the baby less then 2 weeks!

After Daivd_J giving me enough trouble, I ran across a set of 17" boxster wheels with tires on CL perfect to beat up on. Now all my money is going into suspension bits like; coilovers front and rear track arms and rear toe bar to firm up my ride. I may also be looking into a set of front and rear sway bars for the Boxster. I hope to be part of many autoX and track days next year. In short, I I have made the choice to make this the best handeling and maybe the fastest boxster in the country.

What next to make it faster you ask....Cams and cat by-pass pipes and alot of front end CF body parts!
