WTB / Considering 542R's

Any suggestions on size and price and where??

TIA

Andreas

P.S. would want to have the whole wheel including the lip painted or anodized??

Kind of similar to what I did on my stock rims??

I would not paint the lips if you go with 3-4" in the rears.. They will get chipped up.. You can count on it.

I always liked this wheel. It does look sweet, but I agree with Gary, dont paint the lips. keep them polished so that you will have some contrast. IMO

Misindi,

What are you asking for yours and the particulars?? and thank you tuningwerks for the photoshop job. I like the look!!!! Any thoughts from the rest of you. Actually would not mind a set of stock rims redone the same way but 19" rather than 18" also????? anyone!!!

Thanks

Andreas

Andreas,

You're car looks awesome. Are your wheels painted or powdercoated (I don't think they're anodized)? What are the details of your car (year, mods, etc., esp. suspension - it sits perfect). It might have just become my favorite turbo.

Thanks,

David

David,

Thanks. The car is an 01 with stock wheels hollow painted a custum color that I picked out. They look black sometimes and more gunmetal off black other times. I think this color really compliments the all black car.

As for mods, did the clear side markers, pedals, evo short shift in car with B&M under car, Fabspeed exhaust w/ techart black tips, BMC airfilter, Bailey DV, custom stainless skid plate under engine and Unichip ECM tuning. Car also has full Reus Stereo install, Techart custom all carbon fiber V60 phone mount, FVD rear spoiler (just installed) GT2 GT3 Porsche factory roll bar with safe craft fire extinguisher mounted to it. Gemballa lowered the car w/ the H&R full suspension setup, did there front Strut brace and had S-cargo corner balance the car.

OH Can't forget the bumperplugs and rear bumper pieces painted to match car and key plug, full window tinting and speedlingerie bra.

Thanks Andreas. I'm assuming it's a late 01 by the hollowspoke wheels. They almost look like the Japanese wheels (i.e. volk, racing hart) that are that bronze/gunmetal color.

What products do you use as far as cleaning goes?

Also, if you ever want to sell it, let me know. However, I have a feeling it will be years before I can buy one . That is, unless you want to owner finance it cheap .

David

PS - Sorry to stray from the topic at hand.
