Yeah, cars like these don't close on ebay... Best case is to ID a buyer and work it out from there- inspections, a faxed purchase agreement, etc

This car being 7 years old isn't going to determine what it will sell for, if that were the case how would you explain the resale prices of 11-12 year old 993tts? This is a pretty decent example with nice mods, I would think low to mid $50ks would be the selling price. The final price on ebay, though, will be mid $40s. As other have said, ebay is just to get the car more exposure.

I wasn't meaning to compare the 993tt to the 996tt, instead I was comparing the value of a 7 year old car compared to the value of an 11 year old car. The poster had said the car was worth such and such because it was 7 years old, not because it was mass produced and the general public is basically giving them away now. I currently own a 993tt so am pretty happy with their value compared to that of the 996tt.
But anyhow, sorry to get this thread of track. Free bump and good luck with the sale.

too funny.. you are right, dude, the 996tt is exactly like any other 7 year old used car, and I would love to consider my 993tt a collector's item, but probably am not going to be that lucky. Plus, it gets enjoyed too much for that status.
Anyhow, again, dont want to junk up this thread.
