EDIT: Have Dropped price to $29k, really need to move this thing!

I'm selling my 2008 Jeep SRT-8 which has 17,xxx Miles. Trying to get rid of it as soon as possible before winter in order to buy new car/truck for winter. It has been used mainly as a daily driver during weekdays as the SL is used for the weekends. Interior is in great condition, seats have black alcantara inserts front and back. Paints in good condition. Car comes with 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. Car just went in for recent mandatory service as well, so its fresh .

Options include:
- Navi/Rear backup Cam ($1,090)
- SRT option 1 ($1,995)
- Power Sunroof ($800)
Including Destination Charge total cost comes out to $45,105.

I would like to get $29,000 for it but i am open to all offers, no trades. Also, i would prefer to keep offers on east coast, but i am willing to transport at buyers expense. PM me for more info/photos if needed, but only if at least semi-serious, don't like to waste time.

Why are you selling such a great Jeep and then get another truck for winter?

All you need is a set of winter tires for this truck and you can drive everywhere.

Best of luck with your SRT sale. I just sold the exact same truck a month ago only difference being mine had the option group 2 as well. The market for these seems to be a little soft but at that price and with gas prices back down I cant see someone not jumping on it. Mine with around 14K on the clock brought just under $34K so you should move it easily. Just having done it myself i would also suggest posting on srt8forum.com (if it isnt already) and believe it or not mine sold via eBay. We made the deal pre auction end so i only had to pay the $42 listing fee and then canceled the auction early. Hope this can help ya and GL.

P.s. im sure you will miss it as i do mine these trucks are just too much fun. nothing quite like beating the pants off of a kid in his new STI or EVO in an SUV....

 

I figured posting in the thread why i am getting rid of it, obviously that wasn't enough. I love this Jeep, i remember getting it and showing it to everyone, and they were all VERY IMPRESSED. I have no doubts on this vehicle, except for its 30/70 power distribution. It is almost like a real wheel drive car, which i love, but not ideal for the winter (at least in my eyes). Keep in mind i also have a s550 4matic which should do perfectly fine in the winter. Also, i was planning on selling the Jeep after the winter and buying snow tires; however why should i spend the extra money having a set lying around to sell along with the Jeep....its too much of a headache. Who knows what i'll get for winter, car/truck/nothing at all...it all depends on where this bullet train goes!

 

I should try Ebay, but I'm kind of shady towards it. I've had a simple transaction go bad, and the buyer never sending me the Item i payed for. So i don't feel like taking that minute chance, you got me??

But back to your Post, it is a great truck, thats the awesome bang for the buck. It's funny, every time i bring it to the city and park it in a Garage, they Valet guy always has questions/comments on it, its super cool. And now that I'm selling it for 31K OBO, think of that deal...its insane. Anyways, thanks for the Ebay tip and comment.
