Fs: 1996 993tt

Selling my 993TT. 77K miles. I bought the car 5 years ago with 63K miles and have done the following:

Rebuilt UMW hybrid turbos
Sportec (Gunter Mandl) custom dyno tune on a 1997 ECU
Cargraphic aux oil cooler
5 bar fpr
Protomotive intercooler
3 spoke steering wheel
Front euro bumper with turbo s ducts and euro turn signals
Rear euro turn signals
RSR loud muffler
Techart sport cat
Gert Front Protection Bar
Sliver hood crest
996TT hollow spokes painted black

When I purchased the car, it already had:

LWF
GT2 clutch
hardwired V1
Bilstein PSS9

When I purchased the car long distance, the PPI came back great with no paintwork. They were wrong as the hood had been repainted. I have since replaced and repainted the front and rear bumper covers. There is also a oil leak on the passenger side valve cover gasket.

I have clean title in hand and carfax is clean. There is no apparent accident damage anywhere.

Most of the work was done by UMW, Speed Gallery and Lucent.

Looking for $45K. Also interested in trades for a S2000, 996 Cab or a Prius (don't laugh!).

Sorry can't upload photos but you can go here to view a couple of pics. I no longer have the RUF wheels. The wheels on the car now are 996TT hollow spokes painted black.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful 993. Especially w/ those RUF wheels. Perhaps post pics of the interior. GLWS.

Very reasonable price! It's rare to see a 993TT in the 40s.

Thanks! It is a beautiful looking car inside and out and is running perfectly. However, the market is soft so I have priced it accordingly.

Also, please send me an email to adscab911@yahoo.com and I can send additional pictures.

Thanks.

Addison

To answer some questions:

The car has never been tracked by me and when I purchased the car, the previous owner also said he did not track the car. There was no "track related" wear on the car that we could see, specifically rock chips on the headlights, rear quarters, pitted windshield, etc.

The car looks beautiful from 10 feet or 1 feet. Paint still shines as Lucent did an amazing detailing job a while back. Interior is in fantastic shape. No wear on the drivers side bolster but slight "spider" marks. The car runs fantastic and is scary fast for me.

The car is LOUD with sport cats and RSR Loud mufflers. Also has that "no cat" smell.

Things that need to be attended to:

1. Replace valve cover gaskets.
2. Passenger seat- one motor is not connected or not working.
3. Digital boost gauge not working.
4. Slave accumulator needs to be replaced.

Let me know if you have specific questions and/or want specific pictures. Keep in mind this is not a new car but a 13 year old sports car with a lot of idiosyncracies, or character, as 993 owners like to say.

The following will be included in the sale:

1. OEM 993TT intercooler.
2. 1996 factory ECU.
3. Extra set of 993 headlight glass. The glass only, not the entire assembly.
4. Aluminum shifter and ebrake, not installed.

Thanks for your interest.

Addison

Pictures have been sent to all that have requested. Thanks for everyone's interest.

Man, that 964 Turbo is SICK!!! I actually saw you ad a little while ago. I had a 964 Cab a few years ago and really love the "old school" look of the 964 widebody!

I've got a couple of interesting offers so let me give it some thought.

Thanks.

Take ur time bud, our old school turbos arent losing any value at all =) Just sit and wait for the right offer. FYI my 965 is turnkey, nothing needed In fact all the **** little tidbits that come with owning a old school porsche has been taken care of by me already. I have some serious money into this ride I just have car ADD haha

Just wanted to point out as a former owner of a 2005 S2000, that coming from a 993, you will probably be hugely disappointed by the lack of torque of the S2000 engine. It is a sweet car but you have to drive it like you're mad at it. The brakes are another let down. My C-Class had far superior brakes and weighed considerably more than the Honda. My next two seat open top will likely be a Lotus or Boxster S.

Gandalfthegray, that is a sick Pantera! Very tempting as my dentist has a modified Pantera and competes in the Open Road Race in Nevada. I was looking to get a little cash back in a trade but will keep yours in mind as I think it is a sweet ride, for sure.

Thanks for the well wishes. Have a lot of interesting trade offers, just need time to mull them over. Also a lot of purchase interest. 6speed is the best!

I know the S2000 lacks low end torque! I had a 13B 91 RX7 and I loved the high redline, plus fresh air!

All picture requests responded to. Thanks again.
