DAS Bolt in Roll bar

I am not using the Roll bar I bought for my car. We used it for about 3 weeks for the shootout. Couple of things that should be known. This is not a Porsche bar and is the real deal. It is has a cross bar that attaches to the roll hoop and attaches to the strut mounts and the seat belt mounts. It is IMSA and SCCA legal because of the construction and cross bar. I have 950.00 in it. I will sell it for what I paid. I also have painted it Artic Silver. It was scratched from install and the extinguisher mount but these can be touched up. This is a nice piece. I needed to put my kid's seats back in and need the bar out of the way. This is as quality as it gets in the bolt in department.

Roll Bar

Hi there, let me know if you still have it for sale. Could you tell who it is made by? Is it better than the Tech Equip? How much of a bear to install? Thanks! Steve

The bar is still for sale. It is made by DAS and is IMSA and SCCA legal. It is not really that bad to install since it is in two pieces. Drop me an email or call if you would like.

Interesting that it is IMSA and SCCA legal. It is not legal for PCA at least in Zone 8. It is considered a harness bar as it is not bolted to the floor (as you said it attaches to the seat belt mounting points). DAS does make a retrofit kit that does bolt it to the floor. (Requires drilling.) http://www.das-sport.com/weekend_996_bar.asp

Well I can honestly say since I sit on the National PCA Tech Committee they do have stranger rules.

DAS Roll Bar

DAS sells additional floor brackets which is used to bolt the bar to the floor and make it PCA and SCCA legal. Check out their website.
