I'd be VERY weary. First, I'd find a different escrow company and ask him to use that one. If he refuses, that's a pretty sure fire sign that it's a scam. There's been MANY scams that pose as escrow companies, so be overly cautious. If it's legit, he wont care if you suggest another escrow company that you feel more comfortable with.

FWIW use a escrow company that is used by a major real estate company where ever you live. In general they will be legit. They can do anything that two parties agree to. Ie Bill of sale, terms, etc...

If I were using an escrow company to buy a car the only one I would go with is escrow.com. They're set up to deal with buying and selling cars. An escrow company that does real estate transactions might not deal with cars and if they are will do so they're probably a novice at this type of deal.

RUN!! 100% SCAM!!!
I know way too many people that were burned with these scams...
Ask the other party to use your escrow company as mentioned above. I am willing to be they do not even respond. Is is a CL car?

Be careful. A car buying scam can turn your experience into a disaster!!! Ask a lot of questions and do your research before jumping in.
