Wow, that's a beautiful car. I remember a long time ago when Reggie had a fire which totaled a bunch of his cars, it was terrible. This is a great car and that it comes with the opportunity to meet such an iconic Hall Of Famer is awesome! But that all being said, it is in the guidelines of the For Sale Section that a price be noted. This car is up for auction without a buy it now price. I'm not trying to be a jerk or rain on anybodies parade, but this is a guideline which I am starting to see less and less enforced when people post ads linking to ebay auctions without posting the price within the thread and I think it's disrespectful to the site when people don't adhere to it's rules. That being said, with this particular car, it is very special and I hope it goes to a great home.

Being a rabid fan of the 67 427/435 and 66 427 / 425 Corvettes, I've known about this car for years. For those looking, this Corvette has a bit of history and lore around it. If my memory is correct, this one had some documentation on it, that was lost in Mr. Jackson's car warehouse fire in 1988. At the time, about 30 cars were lost, and several irreplaceable bits of documentation were burned up in the fire. Going way back, but the tank sticker and protecto-plate were lost. Fortunately no one was hurt.
If my memory is right again, at one of the auctions along the way, none other than Nolan Adams himself checked out the car. Again, if my memory is right, he determined that, in essence, his gut said it was real, but there was no way to prove it beyond any doubt without the documentation.
One of the wonderful things about this car, and I hope the original poster can confirm it, is that this 427 actually is driven!
BTW, neat part of this auction is that you can take delivery of the car from Mr Jackson and get a tour of his collection. At one point his collection had over 180 cars (if my memory is right and there no additional internet lore going on here).
In any case, for the comment above asking for a price. Sadly, I would think this car would sell for at least $100k to $125K. And by sadly I mean, it puts this car out of reach currently except for a very small group of collector car buyers. Definitely would have sold more before the classic car market took this dip. I am no expert though, just a guess.
Lastly, curious if the original poster knows if Mr. Jackson wants to sell it outright to a good home. Of course the car would be the only car in my garage so it might be lonely, but I can guarantee that it would be the marquee car -- of course that is next to my son's 67 427 Matchbox car.
This is simply a beautiful Corvette. GLWS...
