A lot of members on 6speed have known me for a while now and can vouch for the condition of my cars. Without further delay here are the specs

OK guys MAJOR PRICE DROP- First person to offer over 100k to me takes it.... this is a steal, the car is being consigned at CNC motors for around 110k, if I get a buyer from 6speed I will go pickup the car take it off consignment and sell it for 10k less direct. I have a Audi r8 in sight that I really REALLY want to pull the trigger on, so this is gonna go one way or another...I rather not trade it in to the stealership....they are offering me high 90's so please do not come at me with something ridiculous like 90k. Thanks

Wait, so if you trade in a Bentley for $90k on an R8 that is $100k. You pay tax on the whole $100k? That doesnt seem right. You are being "double taxed. You should only have to pay tax on the $10k difference.
So if the tax on $100k is say 6.25% (thats what it is in Mass, dont remember cali) is $6250. Or on $10k its $625.
So if they are giving you say $95k for your car, its like getting $101250 for your car because of the sales tax benefit you would have to pay on the $100k car.
I of course dont know what you're paying for an r8. But if it is not a v10 i can't see paying more than $110k for a v8.
I would look into this, it doesnt seem right to me.

yup .. CA = TAX RAPE. But hey I want MY NEW R8 DAMNIT =). Seriously someone buy this.... 101k is a deal of a lifetime, you can drive it for a half a year and make out with the same amount on your next purchase.
