I am looking for a special car. If you know of one (yours, your friend's, etc...) that is really is different, this is what I am most interested. Below are the specs of the car I am seeking. Thanks for viewing and the help.



Year: 2002-2005 (will look at 2001 as well)
Model: 996TT
Body: Coupe
Mileage: Under 40K preferred. Will look at higher miles if the car is special.
Mods: Mods are preferable, as long as they were done with quality and thought.
Suspension: (HR preference, PSS9-10's fine, others fine). Dog bones done is extra special.
Engine: Turbos moded or replaced is fine, Headers, exhaust, etc. All fine and prefer mods in these areas.
Transmission: Manual, not seeking Tip. Clutch, accumulator, slave work performed preferred.
Interior: Black (most preferred), but will look at all combos.
Exterior: White (most preferred), but will look at any color.
Condition: Must be a very straight, clean car. History/Carfax must be clean (no accidents, other). Paint work is fine as long as it is cosmetic, documented and done right.
Take Off Parts: If the car is modded, I prefer cars where the original equipment has been retained.
Documentation: Maintenance records, original sales, etc is preferred.
Location: NJ (preferred), CT, NY, PA, RI, MA, MD. I will travel beyond these areas for the right car

 

So you want a TT that's been converted to RWD? If not you might want to change the drivetrain field in your post.

Then again, RWD would by default make it pretty special

That's definitely a sweet car. He's already come down like 15k in price in the last few months, so it's probably a good time to start talking to him.

I LOVE the interior on that - it definitely passes your "special" criteria too - tons of mods. I asked questions about it on Rennlist and the one thing that I thought was interesting was that it was never tracked, however, he put on PCCB's aftermarket. I can't imagine why you would choose to do that if you weren't tracking, but hey, everyone spends money differently.

If it fits your criteria, PPI it and have fun.

I've been toying the idea of selling my 2001. It has been gone through extensively and I even have a new crate motor after a spun rod bearing last year (not due to abuse-just bad luck per my mechanic). Silver, GT2 front (MA Shaw), GT2 CF add on in rear, Full CF interior, Garret Alpha 28's with all supporting mods, EPL tune wheels, 997TT BBK, 10K in Dennis Barish Designs sound system, Recaros, etc... List goes on and on and on. Just thinking about it as it sits these days most of the time due to work and other projects I've picked up. I'm almost afraid to add up what is on this thing...
