Just sold my previous “weekend toy” and looking for a replacement. Already sick of looking at the empty space in my garage! Why don't you expand your search to other colors and wrap it? The matte white wrap looks very nice.

 

Funny you say that dcentric, I've actually considered it! I didn't realize how difficult this combination would be to find. There are so many other low mileage tip 996TT's out there but I just can't get myself over the yea-but-it's-not-really-white thing. I'm trying to be patient hoping someone may want to sell their white tip to get a manual, but I don't know how long I can hold out. I'm kicking myself because I found a really nice 01 at a Michigan dealership in January, but I couldn't pull the trigger because I hadn't sold my previous car. Anyway, I'm still hoping I can find what I'm looking for and would certainly appreciate any leads!

finding a great 2001 that is white tip and paint still in great condition will be very tough...WRAP IT

 

Finding a white 996TT is hard.. finding it in Tip is going to be even harder. Hope you find what you're looking for

 

Thanks V8HAHA! I'm pretty determined to stay the course until I find what I'm looking for, but I must admit, this whole wrap idea is starting to sink in a little! Every day I see lots of nice non-white's for sale and I'm afraid I'm beginning to crack just a bit. I really want to get started on my 911 "experience" plus it's springtime around here so we'll see how much longer I can hold out!

 

I have an almost perfect white/blk turbo X50. It's stick tho....
