1994 Mazda RX7 R2 with only 31k miles. Price is $36k. 1 owner from new until I bought it in 2016.

This car is virtually flaw free and looks brand new both inside and out. If you know RX7's the R2 is their track focused variant and this car is 1 of 65 produced in this color for 1994 making it extremely rare. There are virtually no stock RX7's around with low miles and especially in the R2 configuration.

Mods: downpipe and Peter Farrell cat back exhaust
Upgrades: metal AST and aftermarket boost gauge
All else is stock and perfect.

Recent service: full fluid changes for transmission, differential, brakes, oil, and coolant. New plugs and wires. Just had a small intake leak fixed at Petit Racing and vacuum hoses were replaced along with upgraded thermostat and gaskets. New brake pads. Car is in need of nothing. AC is ice cold.

Radio upgraded.

Crazy cool! I had an 93 and then traded it for a white with black interior 94 and had that wing put on it. They were not R2's. That was my intro to twin turbo cars. GlWS!

 

These cars are so unknown that it is both a blessing and a curse. They handle incredibly as they weigh so little, have great power, great brakes. All analog all the time. Extremely smooth which is what you get from a rotary and the 8k rpm redline is pretty awesome as well. I want to build one that is much more aggressive which is why I put it up for sale. I cannot modify this car as that would be a shame.

 

Price is negotiable but the first number needs to be a 4. Not selling in the $30's. Lots of offers there but first one in the $40's gets it.

Not long enough. One of those buy decisions and figure out where to put it later.

I had an R2 with 32k miles that was immaculate and primarily stock, sold it for high 20's last year. I wish you luck on 40k...you never know!
