I love those AVUS wheels - I was thinking about buying them for a while...just too large for (optimal) 996TT performance. Awesome though...good luck with the sale - that is a good price for metal and rubber.

Can you explain what you mean by "too large"? Is the increase in unspring weight substantial over the OEM hollow spokes w/ stock Pirellis?

I brought this point up to a few wheel guys and Porsche before I bought my latest set of wheels (regarding putting 20's on a 996TT) and they all steered me no higher than 19" - period. I also spoke with Chris at Avus and he recommended the 19's for the 996TT...not 20's.

I don't know the raw weight difference between those Avus vs. the OEM hollow spokes w/ stock Pirellis - sorry. Perhaps someone else can chime in on that one...

Personally, I'd be more inclined to put that size wheel on a 997 or Cayman.

Well it seems that you into ultimate performance and speed on your car. The 20's never did anything that "i hated" nor Disliked. As a matter of a fact it gave it that much more nicer look and rode just like 19's. if you are looking to do something on track or something 20's is not the way to go, otherwise your 100% fine! the only reason why i am selling them is because i sold my car.

19s max on a 911, though these look pretty decent, i'd personally never do it
