I am not familiar with a Slate gray 996. Seal gray was the color used on the 996's, was discontinued and replaced with Slate for the 997. With that said, there is a beautiful 03 Seal Gray GT2 for sale for $115k. Search the for sale forum.

Hey Luis, thanks for the post. Slate Gray was available for the 996 turbo as an option. Ive seen a few along the way. Pretty rare color, I love it. Here's one.

Thanks Luis, I agree. It is a beautiful color.

There's a really nice 2004 at Newport Porsche here in California, but they are asking $130k for it. What do you think?

aaronchanfilms: That picture you posted is of a car located in Seattle at the Ferrari/Maserati dealer correct? I have seen it in person. There is also a slate grey 996TT at the Bellevue Porsche dealership. Here is the link.

Yeah no doubt the GT2 is the winner in this case. What do you guys think is a fair price on that 2004?

That 04 should not be over $100k IMO. The 03 above is overpriced as well, but Bert Smith is always unrealistic with their prices. (I used to live in Clearwater/St.pete and that was my dealer)

'01 TT for sale
If you're interested in a low mileage seal grey '01 non-X50 TT, mine is for sale here: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=56936. It doesn't have the power of an X50 but can easily and reliably be modified for much less cash to well over that power level (as other 6speeders would certainly testify)!

they've had this one for a LONG time. I remember seeing it in Sept of last year when i was looking at TT's. it was 114k at the time as well. you would think they would have backed off the asking price by now.

JWGT2> Wow, interesting. That car is near perfect in my books, slate on black interior with x50. I'd like a nav system and non supple sport seats, but that can be fixed later. The only thing im wondering is, the description says black interior. From the pictures it looks charcoal but that may just be from the camera flash. I'll give them a call tmrw.

Here's the link for anyone else that's looking:
