LOL ANdrew - I sold a pair of BRAND NEW sports seats with 0 miles out of an 04 FT3 in black leahter, standard grey stitching and crest in headrest for 1500 + shipping...
For 3500 you can get GT3 seats and paint em

 

I don't know about GT3 seat is GT3 seat has two big hols at head rest area with porsche crest.

How about brand new GT2 seats ( driver side and passenger side) @$2K. Do you think it is good price?

GT2 seat?? Is'nt that the same as a sport seat?

 

don't mean to steal the thread but if anyone has metro blue sport seats with aluminum backs (NOT arctic) I would be interested.

gabf1 - the seat backs can only be ordered in exterior paint....thus, no alu backs (I actually tried ordering my 03TT that way but Porsche said NO WAY!!)

 

Yea I talked to the dealer and they said for a set of brand new Sport seats you can not buy them in one peice. You have to peice them together. They quoted me 5000-5500 for the seats in black on black. Then with painted backs that adds about 1400 to the cost and then another350 forthe porsche crest in the headrest. From the dealer you would end up spitting out 6500 buck for a painted set of Sport seats. I think some people and did not really care to much about the dealer price on sport seats and just get rid of them. I think they are worth more than most peope would think they are.

as to the worth of used parts or any part that has driven off the lot -- my experience is that they are only worth pennies on the dollar .

 

fair price should be 2500 in my opinion
