Hi Damon.
I planning to get a set of pss10 and wheels from tirerack, but need advice on what offset I should get for the wheels.

I have a 996 c2 narrow body and what a more agressive / nicer look.
What wheels /offset should I use?

On the narrowbody 996 a 40ET front wheel works fine too. Dep used that instead of the 53ET we list. Either work.

OZ Alleggerita for 997S track use

Just got mine for 2006 997S. Rear weights came in slightly lower than expected.

F 18 x 8.5 +53 offset 18.03 lbs. - Hoosier Wets 245/35-18
R 18 x 12 +68 offset 21.96 lbs. - Hoosier Wets 315/30-18

Look great in black with graphite centers.

18" sizes

Hi Damon,

can we use an 18x8 to mount a 235/40/18 (front) and 18x10 (rear) to for a 285/35/18 ? will those rim sizes work...? 1999 996 C2 coupe here...

Bought another set for 18" R6s in 245/35-18 and 315/30-18 - awesome!

Now have 10 track days on 18" Allegeritas between the R6s & Wets - very pleased. I go up on curbing and no issues (I do avoid really rough ridged curbing).

If you use center caps on track DO NOT use the carbon fiber ones - apparently the carbon fiber disc is hot glued to the plastic part that snaps into wheel - after my 1st track session 3 of the 4 centers were missing the carbon fiber discs. The silver center caps do not have the same problem. Save the carbon fiber caps for the street.

My 19" (8.5, 11) Ultraleggeras in black are for sale, PM me if interested.

I've got around 8 days on my wheels. No issues with the carbon caps. Maybe you got a bad set.

Center caps are typically not recommended for track days. I think they used to recommend that you pull them off while in the tech line at the events I used to do up north years ago
