Honestly, having some issues with the car right off the start isn't such a bad thing. It forces you to really understand how these cars work and in the end can save you lots of money by doing things yourself.
And it's fun to troubleshoot.

was my guess too, straight from the p-nut gallery. some sticky lil suckers, old wg's or dv's are! nice to hear you got it sorted! now, on to the next ..never mind.. enjoy the car now! congrats. its pretty rewarding once sorting out issues on these cars. we live in boost tests and vac leak central.
me?!? nah, just sticky/maladjusted ( in my case(s) wg's are so common re boost issues that its usually a good first place to "look". but maybe you weren't talking to me anyway lol. I'm here all life
good news is, again, its one less thing to worry about!

My logic was now that I have this issue fixed I should probably invest in new turbos...
Actually curious to see how the car feels now, gotta think it was down a significant bit of power with this issue.

if you haven't already? make sambott's acquaintance here ( @bydesignauto ). he'd kick for me for saying this, but the guy would take your call on xmas day if you needed help.

He's got me well sorted on his custom Cobb Mafless tune and the car has never run better, based on seat of the pants and the log files.
