Up for sale 997 GT2/GT2RS main shaft & 1st gear. The main shaft is brand new never used and 1st gear has about 6 months on it. I had to replace my 2nd gear and thus got the whole set. Since the tranny was apart I decided to switch out the 1st gear as well, however there is absolutely nothing wrong with this one.

 

can 2nd gear be purchased separately and is it cheaper this way over a new full set?

 

from my research you have to buy the set? if thats not the case id be interested.

 

Unfortunately the second gear can not be purchased separately, hence the reason why I had to buy the whole set. The complete set sells for $1,300+. This is for someone that needs the main shaft and or the 1st gear. I don't know why porsche doest sell the gears separately but if and when they do, this is one hell of a deal.
