Will is back in business, selling these. Just bought one from him and installed it on my 996 TT. Great product. Suggest you reach out to him, http://www.willwoodsystem.com/.
Your thread requested 996TT hitch, whereas content says 997 turbo. Will told me that the 997 may require modification of the bumper attachments to the frame as those on the 997 are somehow less robust than the 996 supports. No direct knowledge of this, just reporting his statement.

Thanks - content updated as 996TT is what I need. I'll see what Will has to offer.

Tell him that Dan Nall says hello, loves his product, and directed you to him.

Willwood bike rack photos

Below are some photos of my Willwood bike rack system. First is a photo showing the two hitch receivers on either side of the license plate:

That setup looks fantastic - what does it weigh and how much did it cost?

Also - can you rack the bikes without taking the front tire off or do you need to clamp the fork to the rack?

Thanks for the pics - exactly what I've been looking for.

You have to take the front tire off, because clamping the front fork drop-outs into the skewers on the rack are what gives the bike lateral stability and precludes the need for any other type of lateral connections that would have to touch the car. That type of system is often used on bicycle roof racks for cars.

All up, I was out $710 for everything, include hitch receivers with brackets, bike rack, and Yakima wheel forks that I got on eBay. the rack itself couldn't weight more than 15 lbs.
