I bought my 2002 Turbo about a year ago with ~25k miles on the clock, she has about 30k on it now (I drive it). At the time, the rubber had about 15 miles on them. The fronts look great, but in March of this year, I picked up a nail in the back and it was un-repairable, the left rear tire was replaced.
The only issue the wheels have is that one of the rears is losing a bit of the clear, the original owner got ahead of this and bought a new rear wheel, so this will of course be included in the sale. I tried to take pictures of the issue, but at the end of the day, do you really care? You have a brand new wheel in a RUF box, bonus!
I don't know a ton about wheels, but I will do my best to answer your questions. I am open to ship, but of course it would be really nice to find a SF Bay Area buyer. Shipping will be at the buyer's expense. Thanks for looking and have a great day! KH
OK, I'm dumb . . . Where do I find the date codes? Here's a quick snap of something that looks like a date code to me . . .
For clarification (both a public and private reply), apologies if I have given the impression that the tires are mismatched. When I bought the car in September of last year, all four tires were matched, brand new PZero Rossos. When I picked up a nail earlier this year, I replaced that tire with the same Rosso tire, of course this has less wear than the original rear tire. Clearly the front two are wearing far slower than the rears (no surprise there). Please LMK if I can provide more information, thanks! KH

KH,
That is IT! Great. That 1712 means the tire was constructed the 17th week of 2012. Because these tend to go on cars with relatively high HP, this can be significant [especially with rwd] in terms of the cars wanting to get away from us. Unless you post otherwise we can assume that all the tires are of this vintage. Thanks.
[Now, for me, I have think hard about having a 4th set of wheels for my GT2!... It's nuts, but I am considering...]
